This mug is a great size for coffee lovers, adorned with patterns, and gives a modern design. This unique stoneware coffee mug is just at the right size for your evening herbal tea. Perfect for a cozy snuggle on the couch or in bed with espresso or hot chocolate.
DETAILS:
It holds approximately 14 fluid ounces.
Measures: 3.5" tall x 3.5" wide (5" including handle)
CARE:
This mug is food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe.
Although, due to being handmade - hand wash is recommended.
PROCESS:
Each mug is individually handmade with a white stoneware clay thrown on my potters' wheel and then each handle is made individually for each cup. I then apply a slip decoration to each mug, the slip is a liquid clay and can be colored which is seen in some of my other mugs! After drying it goes through its first kiln firing. Then I add its finishing layer - the glaze. I have a variety of glaze and at this step of the process, I decide what color I want it to be. The final step is loading each piece back into a final kiln firing that reaches up approx. 2200 degrees (F)!
